Visiting Philadelphia 2013: The Franklin Institute

Photo Originally Taken on March 18, 2013.

Exactly a year ago today, my husband and I visited the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. The Franklin Institute, at first glance, may seem like a place just for children and educating them, but it has a lot of interesting exhibits that are made for both children and adults. When you enter the Franklin Institute, it is certainly fitting that you are greeted by a Benjamin Franklin statue. Though, I have to admit this picture was not taken when we first arrived, but later while we were waiting for a demonstration. We had a great time at the Franklin Institute and had the opportunity to see the Titanic Exhibit that was being featured at the time.

    AnonymousThis is a great photo.

You’re so right, the Franklin Institute is great for adults too. I haven’t been in a few years, and I work not to far from it so I should make a point to go.

Stopping by from Northeast Bloggers FB page!ReplyCancel

AnonymousThank you for the compliment, SMD! You should try making the trip one day! They’re always changing their featured exhibit, which is nice. That way there’s always something new to take a look at. 🙂ReplyCancel

AnonymousThe only places we go to in Philly are Citizens Bank Park, WellsFargo Center, and Lincoln Financial Field. LOL. Can you tell we like sports?

I am going to add this to my list!ReplyCancel

AnonymousThanks so much, Megan! I had a couple of pictures of him, but found the one I took from the floor to be the best. Almost from the eyes of a child. 🙂 Thanks for your comment!ReplyCancel
