#FMSphotoaday June 7: Pattern

wire-pattern

f/16, 1/250, ISO100

I have to admit, today’s FMS Photo a Day prompt, pattern, was not an easy one for me. I looked high and low for an amazing pattern and I couldn’t find any that really stood out to me. Any other time I, of course, come across tons without looking. As soon as I started actually looking for a pattern, it was nowhere to be found. But I was in luck! That one moment that I wasn’t looking or thinking about it, I came across this set of wires intertwining and creating a pattern of sorts. I snapped a photo and here we are. I’m still not 100% sure what these wires were supposed to be, fun it formed into this sort of octagon pattern, I guess you could say. I thought it was pretty cool; though, not the most intricate that I’ve seen, it still caught my eye and my camera’s eye as well.

What types of patterns do you find yourself looking for?

What do you think of this photo? I’m still learning so any critique is appreciated and welcomed!

AnonymousI understand about not finding something the minute you start looking for it. This shot is pretty cool though, and reminds me of one of my favorites photography rules: never forget to look above and behind you! You never know what you might be missing by focusing only on what’s at eye-level.ReplyCancel
