#FMSphotoaday June 4: Ordinary

f/4.0, 1/200, ISO100

Today’s FMS Photo a Day prompt is ordinary. It took me a while to decide which photo to go with to represent ordinary. There were so many possibilities for me to go with from flowers to door bells, to who knows what else. In the end, though, you probably noticed I didn’t go with any of them. Instead, I went with a photo of my husband. Since moving, he’s found a new “spot” to hang out on to think and just star into space. I guess you could call it a ledge, but I’m sure that’s not the technical term for where he’s sitting. But, that’s besides the point, there are few days that he doesn’t appear there at least once. The one day I caught him and I had my camera, I couldn’t help but press the shutter button a couple of times. It was an ordinary day for him in his usually spot.

What do you think of this photo? I’m still learning so any critique is appreciated and welcomed! Who would you have picked for your photo a day ordinary prompt?

AnonymousI struggle with prompts like ordinary. Almost like there are too many interpretations of the word out there!

    Great “ordinary” pic!ReplyCancel

AnonymousI’m the same way. I almost need more complicated and specific prompts, but I do my best, haha.ReplyCancel
