A couple of years ago, my husband and I traveled to Pittsburgh for a conference he was attending. My husband hate heights and could barely go near the window of our hotel, but that didn’t stop me from taking a peek. I was amazed by the view and, of course, couldn’t resist taking a photo.

Yesterday we saw Niagara Falls from a distance. Today, we get to see it up-close. This was, again, taken from the Canadian side. At the time, I was on one of the boats that rides so close to the falls you have to wear a rain poncho.

Moving away from snow for a little while, let’s look back on my trip to Canada. While there I had the opportunity to visit Casa Loma, the home of Sir Henry Pellatt and Lady Mary Pellatt.
