Happy Monday! I hope all of those who celebrate Easter had a wonderful holiday. Today, in the AtoZ Challenge, the letter is “R.” When TJ (aka “the hubby”) went on our honeymoon, one place that we visited was Ripley’s Believe it or Not. It’s an interesting place to visit, to say the least, and always […]

Can you believe we’re already on the letter “N”? This challenge is going by much quicker than I thought it was going to. Either way, I want to travel back to Canada for letter N’s representation. I know I’ve posted a couple of pictures of Niagara Falls previously, but it’s such a beautiful site, I […]
In 2005 I was 18 and visiting Las Vegas for the first time. One of my favorite casinos to visit was the Luxor. The Luxor is easily identified by its large pyramid shape and not to mention the sphinx, which is what you see in the photo above. I haven’t returned to Vegas in quite […]

It caught my eye and I hope it has caught yours as well. This particular corridor at the Eastern State Penitentiary consists of prisoner’s jail cells.
I thought it would be nice to end the short Philadelphia tour where we began with Independence Hall. This photo was taken, looking up at the Independence Hall clock. The sky was blue and clear, so it was the perfect time to take a picture.
I have to say that this photo from the Eastern State Penitentiary is one of my favorite pictures. This photo was taken of the Eastern State Penitentiary Clock Tower and I’m honestly not sure what created the ominous shadow that seems to surround it. It gives that extra spooky feel to it though, doesn’t it? […]
