Cat Roses | Day 14/365

f/1.8, 1/25, ISO 1600

If I’m being honest here, this was not the photo I planned to take when I initially began. At first, I was going to take a photo of roses I had that withered up, but my cat didn’t think that was a good plan. I took a couple of shots of just the roses and went to review them when he decided he wanted to get into my lightbox. This has happened before, but usually I shoo him away (after several attempts). This time I decided to take a couple of pictures with him in the box with the roses. I’ve always said my cat is a good model and he proves it here in this shot. I was playing around with the focus, some photos with him being in focus and then putting focus on the roses. At one moment he looked toward the roses while I had them in focus and it was perfect. I snapped the shot and this is the photo I got.
