Sunrise at Cedar Point, over Lake Erie in Sandusky, Ohio.

AnonymousEven though I am not from Ohio, my parents grew up there, and I remember them taking me and my sister to Cedar Point when we were little. My memories are a bit vague, but my emotional memory soars when I think about Cedar Point. I remember playing near the lake and getting to go out on a navy blue raft, and then walking through the entrance to where the rides were. What a special place!ReplyCancel

AnonymousI’ve only been to Cedar Point twice and I’ve enjoyed myself tremendously both times! And it’s gorgeous there–especially in the morning when the sun comes up and at night when the sun goes down. So happy that I’ve been able to experience it.ReplyCancel

A photo of the Windseeker at Cedar Point in Ohio. No, I did not ride it, but it was fun to take pictures of!

This tree sculpture has been in my hometown since I was a kid. It’s even more amazing in person, but I am happy I had the opportunity to take its photo.

AnonymousAwesome sculpture. Is this sculpture about any familiar person? If it is, I am sorry. I can’t recognize her or him.ReplyCancel

AnonymousI’m honestly not sure if it is or not. It’s not my sculpture, just one I drive past every now and then.ReplyCancel

September 2nd’s prompt was stripes. I took a photo of my husband’s shirt and then remembered that there is a room in my house full of stripes. When we first moved, we had this room decorated in zebra stripes and though we thought of painting over the stripes, they grew on us. I decided to snap a photo of one of the walls and loved the way it turned out.

I swear this photo is not as random as it may seem. A photo of my morning cup of coffee is what I decided to take a photo for the FMS Photo a Day Challenge. That’s right, I’m trying my hand at complete the challenge again this month. Plus, it adds a bit of inspiration to what photos I will put up for my 365 challenge, which is going quite well so far–aside from not posting the photos up the day I take them, which I’m working on improving. But this is generally what you can find in my cup, in the morning, at least.
