#AtoZChallenge: O is for Open

I knew that I wanted O to stand for “open,” but I wasn’t sure what exactly to use to represent “open.” Did I want to take a photo of a door or should I take a picture of an actual sign that said open? Decisions, decisions. Then today, I was driving home during my break from work to grab some lunch. I looked over and saw the scene above. An open field calling me, saying “Felicia! Stop your car and take a photo for the A to Z Challenge!” So…I did and I’m glad that I did. Have you ever been driving along and just had to stop to take a new photo? This wasn’t my first time and I’m sure it won’t be my last.

AnonymousI almost stopped today on my way home to take a photo. The park alongside the river had flooded due to spring that, and the whole area was under an inch or two of water. There was a single park bench, just sitting alone in the middle of this huge perfectly still pool of water. It was such a weird image. Unfortunately there was nowhere to stop safely to get the picture.ReplyCancel

AnonymousOh wow, that must have been a sight to see! I hate when you’re driving and you see this perfect shot, but there’s nowhere to pull over so you can take it. Though, I may or may not have taken some photos while driving…very rare occasions though and no one else is usually around!ReplyCancel
